Licensing Services for Pubs & Clubs

"Drug using employees are three times more likely to require sick leave or benefits."
(Drug and Alcohol Policies 1999)
We can provide practical, effective support to clients who are concerned about the threat that drugs pose to their venue. From venue and security assessments we can provide guidance on best practice to tackle the problem. We can assess the nature of the problem and work pro-actively with the venue to demonstrate to the police and licensing authorities that all reasonable steps are being taken to address problems associated with drug use and supply.

Our training services for staff and door supervisors are fully accredited and delivered by experts on the subject. We provide a range of courses designed to raise awareness all of which demonstrate an on-going responsible approach to the problem.

Our specialist services include covert assessments of drug use and supply within venues. We also offer Home Office Licensed Drug Detection Dogs as a deterrent to those who seek to bring drugs into the venue.

Our practical expertise and understanding of the type of action that can be taken is critical. We can liaise with the police and licensing officers to prevent such action occurring and develop a working partnership and protocols where the needs of all parties are understood and considered. If a licence is revoked or the venue is subject to police enforcement we can provide legal challenge as part of our evidential package to demonstrate to the courts the steps that have been taken as a responsible venue. Where necessary we can present this evidence in court highlighting the venues commitment to responsible licensing to prevent closure.
